"American Empire" Hall Lantern
American Empire Hall Lantern with antique brass finish hardware which includes a cast brass canopy and chain. This beautifully shaped clear "hour glass" dome is 10" X 14" deep and the lantern has an adjustable ceiling drop from 26" to 46". This size is recommended for 9 ft to 10 ft ceilings. UL Listed.

On Installing 19th Century Hall Lanterns
The advice and services of a licensed electrician are highly recommended in order to safely mount this fixture.
We ship these lanterns electrified. There is a small amount of assembly required on the customer's part since the glass components are packed separate from the brass components to avoid damage. Complete assembly instructuctions are included with each hall lantern.
In addition, our lanterns (with brass ventilator caps) have a candle cup in the bottom and by removing the electrical wiring you can convert the hall lantern to wax candle. However, this conversion would not be recommended for anything other than decorative purposes.
