Ball and Dome Lamp Shades

The Victorian era of lighting has left an indelible mark on modern lighting. Aside from being an influential era that is still hinted at in modern times, this era gave way to the highly popular glass ball lamp shade. These shades are beloved by antique collectors for their throwback to a time when refinement and grace were appreciated differently. Many love them because of their prominence in the iconic film Gone with the Wind. Others are drawn to them because they easily represent the most widespread form of lighting fixtures present during the Victorian era. With their perfectly rounded shape and easy elegance, they are a staple in the collection of many antique enthusiasts.
