GU-24 sockets and adaptors provide a bayonet mount bi-pin connector fitting for certain Compact Fluorescent and LED bulbs with a GU-24 base and provides compliance with a 2008 ruling by the California Energy Commission unter Title 24 California Building Standards Code to require high efficiency lighting on all residential models and new construction.
