Collection: Metal Lamp Shades

The first industrial style shades were designed a reflectors. Bare bulbs on a socket would shine light in any direction including the ceiling. Adding a flat metal plate above the bulb would help redirect or reflect light down where it was wanted. Now these iconic shades are decorating pendant lamps for Early American and Industrial Style Lighting.

The ingredients for a great industrial light are simplicity and raw. The less it features, the more true to form the fixture. Our metal shades carry that traditional approach and keep the simple design. Each shade is spun on a lathe from a flat sheet of metal then the outer lip is rolled back. Most shades will fit a 2 1/4 inch shade holder.
