why throw a good lamp away?

"My desk lamp, which I really like. stopped working due to a faulty dimmer switch. I went online and found that Antique Lamp Supply had the exact dimmer I needed. I ordered it, (very reasonable price and shipping was priced very reasonably), hoping it would do the trick. Just a side note. Every morning I get on my computer and my big male cat gets up on the desk for his daily tap tap and heat lamp (desk lamp) treatment. Needless to say, the switch arrived, I installed it and low and behold the lamp works perfectly. Oh, by the way, the cat is super happy to have his lamp back."
