I’m trying to re wire

"I’m trying to re wire an antique cast iron hanging light. They website does not provide diameter on these so they didn’t fit. They won’t recess into the cast casing of the old lamp. Further, the hole in the clip doesn’t match the screw hole. The hardest part of rebuilding antique lamps is spending lots of time searching the web and also retrofitting an odd size lamp. I though they were all standard sizes."
