Ring shade holders are placed on the lamp's burner and use a circular ring to hold the lamp shade. The ring size should match the shade size in terms. For example a 7 Inch Ring Shade Holder will work with a 7 Inch Fitter (Bottom Diameter) lamp shade. The actual size will vary slightly, but they are noted that way to work together.
