"A friend asked me to repair a lamp base. The base broke off. The base metal cap. Needed all thread tube 1/4 IP.Tried glue, epoxy. Didn't work. Finally MacGyver it. Welded in a new base to accept the longer all-thread. Arrived , just what I ordered. I'll do business with Antique Lamp Supply again. Fine service."
