This place has the esoteric stuff you might need

"I am buying lamp parts for "off label use" - putting the nice brass pipe on a trophy stand to hold something I like to display. Finding internally threaded small brass pipe was a challenge, because it's not straightforward what to call it in a search engine. Since 1/8IP means the pipe is 3/8" in width is one thing; but then, it's threaded at 27 to the inch - no standard or metric screws will fit that, so the fastening parts and then the resting parts are all esoteric as well. These people were very helpful and the first one turned out great."
