"This site has a lot of reallly hard to find parts. So, my comment is not intended to be harmful. I am looking for a Reducer 1/4-27 M X 1/8-27 F. Your inventory list shows a 1/8 M (3/8" diameter) X 1/4-27F Brass Reducer (20910). When I was learning engineering M stood for male and F stood for female. And, 1/8 was generally smaller than 1/4. Reading the description for 20910 confused me. It shows 1/8 (small) M (male/external) threads with 1/4 (large) F (female/internal) threads. What puzzles me is how you make a part with small male threads (external) and large female threads (internal). How is it used? Or, is my advanced age playing tricks with me? Or, is there a revised description protocol I missed along the way? Please advise. And, oh by the way. Do you carry a Shouldered Reducer 1/4-27 M X 1/8-27 F?"
