I guess I broke it
"So my mother in law points out a silver lamp that I supposedly broke the lampshade, like 20 years ago. I must have been drunk as I do not recall it. Anyhow we were just there for the weekend and she reminded me of it. I found a perfect replacement here at ALS. She is totaly happy with the replacement and said that the lamp is ours when she is no longer among us."
