My local supplier [ALS] gets me quality parts fast
"I decided against Amazon for getting this type of hardware for my lamps because you can no longer rely on the quality. ALP, I fouind was local to me, had better pricing and shipping. I got my items next day for less and the quality was what I was hoping for. Beware, your lamp threading may be VERY similar to 1/4 ip but unless you can verify, it may not in fact be true 1/4 ip. My original threaded tube calipered the same dimensions but was threaded diffrently - finer threads. Fortunately I had a 1/4 pipe tap (for my air fittings) with which I re-tapped by lamp's body, then I was golden."
