Perfect hard to find bases
"I was looking for 4 inch opening base for the mid-century modern milk glass lamp shades that I found at a local thrift store. They're gorgeous and I'm trying to bring my 1960s home back to its former glory however my house does not have any of the original lighting so when I found these lampshades I wasn't aware that I needed 4 inch opening whereas the standard size is 3 and 1/2 in. I searched for several weeks online I could find nothing. I went to local hardware stores, big box stores Etc thrift stores looking for antique bases that were donated but nothing. This business popped up in my Facebook feed and lo and behold they have the exact size ceiling light bases I needed and in The finish I wanted.
