"I ordered this globe to replace one on a lamp my kids broke. It’s a perfect match. Just a clarification if you’re looking to create your own lamp - this one does NOT come with the G9 light socket. It is only the shade that screws onto the G9 socket. I did not need the actual light socket so that worked for me. The sheen of the shade is a frosted, very matte white. Lastly I cannot believe how fast it shipped to me. I ordered it on a Thursday morning it arrived to me on that Saturday morning and I live in an area that usually takes double the shipping time of other areas in the US. The size globe replaced is the smaller one in the picture."
