"I ordered a pair of the 8" schoolhouse shades plus fitter adapters to replace large half-moon painted metal shades that came on a new dual light fixture for my front porch. The metal shades didn't work well in that space and resulted in a harsh lighting effect. The glass schoolhouse shades arrived in perfect shape and turned out to be both a great choice style wise and provided the diffused lighting effect I was looking for."
