"I found a decades-old ceiling fixture I really liked on eBay and when it arrived I realized it didn't have any hardware to attach the shade to the fixture(!). Without knowing what the bits and bobs were called, I searched several sites but ALS seemed to have what I needed and the website structure made it easy to figure out what I needed. I would have appreciated better product photography on the website, but when the (satin black) bracket cap and locking nut arrived, I was over the moon with the quality and finish of both! I REALLY appreciate companies like ALS who fill a obscure niche for folks who appreciate decades-old, well-designed and made things but need the parts to make them whole.
