Black Color, 18/2 SVT, PVC (Thermoplastic) covered pulley lamp cord has 2 plastic covered insulated wires that are encased in a tough plastic (outer) covering. This lamp cord is used in pendant & pulley type fixtures, but also gives good service in small, portable appliance use. 18 ga, 105 degree C, 300V, U.L. listed. SVT rating = medium-duty copper wire insulation. .240" outside dia.

"Not really the wire I wanted. I'll use it for something, the wire is fine. I am new to lamp making and I really hate buying on line. I want to see the product in person and put my hands on it. That way I know exactly what I am getting and don't have to pray to God that the product coming in the mail is what I think it is. Just saying. In fairness, I did not call before hand. I am not crazy about phones either."
