Looks like it was sat on.

"Top was pushed down into the outside ring. The way it was received, when the burner was placed on the Dietz Little Wizard Lantern, It wouldn't seat all the way in. The locking wings were about a quarter inch from where they needed to be to twist and lock the burner. The inner base was down too low and wouldn't allow the burner to fully seat into the lamp Fount. I was able to push the center up a little but it still doesn't fit. If I try a little bit more I might be able to get it to fit."

"The part was delivered fast, From order date to in-house 3 days total time. I have the Made in the USA Little Wizard now for about 9 months. It was missing the Burner. The Lamp is in Perfect condition. Now I have a working little Wizard at a cheap price but quality replacement part. The color is an unfinished color but the Little Wizard I have is an exact match. cannot tell it is a replacement part."
