They are no good for fishing, picnics, jurying, or as a boat anchor, but they work great on lamp chain.

"They get the job done. Tool nerds might take issue with the fact that it’s cast metal, not forged. Probably will never have any practical impact given the low forces involved in opening and closing chain. Box joint seems sturdy even if there’s slight misalignment of the jaw tips."
