"The company shipped quickly. The only downside which is why I docked them 1 star is that the cap I received isn't threaded to the older Dietz lanterns. Nothing in ALS ad mentions anything about the thread on their caps."
"My item arrived looking just like it did in the pictures online. The transaction was smooth and delivery was right on schedule. I would definitely do business with this person again. My cap actually didn’t fit the lantern I bought it for but it was a risk I knew I was taking so that’s on me. This cap is for a newer lamp and mine is more of an antique."
"I have several Dietz lanterns which I bought new in the early 2000s - not vintage. These caps didn't fit. I tried all 3 caps and two or three lanterns. Seems like the diameter is right but the thread pitch is off, but I can't tell for sure. On the other hand, the return process was quick and easy, and this part of my purchase was promptly refunded. The globe fit just fine."

"First let me say that the product was reasonably priced, shipped immediately, and packaged very well, and I would happily do business with these Antique Lamp Supply again. The only down side was that the threads on the Dietz caps that I ordered was not a very good fit in any of my lanterns, and the burner assembly for my Dietz Comet doesn't fit the lantern properly. That is not a reflection on Antique Lamp Supply, but their vendors need to produce better products."

"One of my lamps is over 150 years old, with tight threads on the filler neck. I pried off the brass lid of the filler cap, cut halfway across the base, squeezed slightly, replaced the lid. The filler cap screwed right into the filler neck. Thanks"
