"Only because you asked (thanks for asking) . . . 😊 I was just going to re-order later on to fix the problems. I am not upset about the mistake. 😊 You sent: 1 inch, ¾ inch, ⅜ inch, and two ⅛ rounds. I needed: ¾ inch, ⅝ inch, ⅜ inch, and two ⅛ rounds. The first thing I thought was that someone grabbed a ¾ inch wide instead of a ⅝ wide and a 1 inch wide instead of a ¾ inch wide. With my brain in this "mode," I cut the ¾ wide down to fit the ⅝ wide lamp! Oops! I could have just saved it for the ¾ inch lamp! So, I ended up cutting the 1 inch wide down to fit the ⅝ inch lamp (very ugly result, but it works). Then I ordered/received another ⅝ inch lamp (without a wick) to get an antique chimney. Now I need TWO ⅝ inch wide wicks and ANOTHER ¾ inch wide wick! I will order again later on (perhaps in a few months). Then, I had to pull out some strands from the ⅛ rounds to make them work (they were too stiff for the wheel to turn). I wonder if they make a softer ⅛ round? Or, maybe a slightly smaller wick. I have two lamps like this. So you see, the wrong size (1 inch) is only part of my problem. Again, thanks for asking feedback! 😊"
