The best price on the

"The best price on the web for this hard-to-find item. A must for restoring antique lights and lamps."

This Fat-Boy Insulator is quality

"This Fat-Boy Insulator is quality part, but as another reviewer stated it did not fit his Fat-Boy Socket. I had the same problem the big end fit fine but the small end was too big for my Paulding Fat-Boy Socket. I bought one more insulator than I needed to experiment with modifying the small end. I took a pair of sharp scissors and cut thru the insulator small end only down to the radius. This cut was 90 degrees from the key slot on the insulator. Then I made a second cut spaced about 3/16" to 1/4" away from the first and cut at an angle so as to connect with the first cut at the radius. This removed a pie shaped piece from the insulator. Once the insulator was pushed in the socket shell the two sides of the cut were forced together completely closing the pie shaped opening. It worked perfect."
