"I took a chance on this one, and am happy that I did. I wanted all the light from the lamp do be directed downwards, and I wanted something solid and quality. It fits the bill for sure. Hand made, and excellent quality. You will have to file off sharp edges with a metal file, and finish yourself or have it professionally painted. Make sure your lamp is solid and heavy to counteract the weight of the steel lamp shade. My base is solid marble, and outweighs the shade by quite a bit. Over the top, but fantastic and fun project."
