"Second time great overall experience! I bought an antique crystal chandelier at a yard sale to use in the dining room of my new house. It was dirty, tarnished, and some of the curved brass arms that held the light fixtures were no longer attached. Overall, it was in terrible shape. I had the skills to refurbish the chandelier, and since none of the dozens of delicate curved and bent glass parts were cracked or broken, I knew that I would be able to restore that chandelier to it's former glory. The only thing that could have prevented that would have been not being able to find replacements for 10 of the 40 four inch notched U-Drop crystals that were missing. Notched crystals are unique and not found in the vast majority of crystal chandeliers. In 2002 I had restored 4 antique ceiling light fixtures for an old farmhouse I was renovating. I purchased almost all of the parts and supplies I needed from Antique Lamp Supply Company. I remembered the great selection of products on their website, the high quality of the parts I purchased, and the fast shipping. I still had their website bookmarked on my computer and when I went to the site, I found what I needed in less than 5 minutes. When the crystals arrived, I was astonished when I compared them to the original crystals. The size, shape and angle of the cuts were identical. The only way I could tell them apart was that the originals all had some minor flaws or abrasions that betrayed their age. The chandelier is finished and is now the focal point of the entire house.
