"I happened upon your store via a Google search and I'm so glad I did! I recently bought an antique brass and marble lamp "as is, works" at a thrift store. It did not have a shade and the wiring had seen better days, but it did work. I figured I could find a shade for it. Your website and all the info about types of lamps and their parts was extremely helpful! I now understand basic lamp anatomy and have the proper terms to be able to search out the parts.
