"I have two twin lamps that used to be oil lamps and were converted a century ago. One lost its finial a very long time ago. But when the wiring on the two lamps began to fail, I decided to go searching for a matching finial we I replaced all of the hardware. I got everything I wanted and I came across these. Though just slightly off, they are perfect. I couldn’t tell from the photo in the description if it was indeed a perfect match or not so I elected to purchase 2 just in case. That was a very good decision. They were just slightly off from my original but they matched each other, so I replaced them both. They are perfect. I’m very pleased. No complaints. I do wish that they had a ruler next to them in the description so you could see if the size is exact. They are approx half an inch tall & they are perfect."
