Hand made, solid brass Arts & Crafts style chain with round joining links. (3/16" diameter) with 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" cloverleaf shape links. Cloverleaf links are open one end while round links are solid. Solid brass, unfinished. Sold per foot.
These chains are for decorative purposes only. They are made of solid brass material. While lending itself to fine casting detail, solid brass is a softer material than steel. For the protection of property and personal safety, we strongly recommend the use of a steel cable to support the weight of heavy chandeliers.

"This sa a beautiful and eye-catching chain. You do have to play with the links to get them all going in the same direction before hanging,but it looks so nice when you're finished. As for putting the electrical wire through the links, I didn't try to weave it in and out of each link, I skipped 3 to 4 links at a time and that worked great."
"The chain is attractive, and it is sold with caveat not for heavy fixtures. That said: one round link was poorly cast (all but severed), and this chain hangs very awkwardly, especially with traditional-style wrapped wiring."
