Powers Ring Alarm Keypad
"Red wire to hot (house black), black wire to neutral (house white). Im using it to hardwire USB power in the wall for my Ring Alarm keypad. I had to pry off the bulky case to keep from making an even bigger hole in the wall, and I just wrapped the board in electrician’s tape a couple times, including the wires for some minor strain relief. Wired it to the plug near it, used a couple wraps of electrician’s tape around the USB pigtail and USB cable to make sure they don’t come apart, and inserted the whole mess into the wall behind the keypad. No wires showing, and it looks like it was meant to be that way."
